Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 July 2026

These terms govern your use of the Qura website and mobile app. Qura Ltd, trading as Qura Health ("Qura", "we", "us"), is registered in England & Wales (company no. 17310951), 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London W1W 5PF. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What Qura is

Qura is a platform on which healthcare professionals can present their professional information, and on which healthcare organisations and workforce suppliers can discover professionals and request an introduction. Qura provides the platform and the introduction. Qura is not a party to any engagement, contract or employment that follows, does not supply staff, does not direct or control any professional's work, and is not responsible for the terms, conduct or outcome of any engagement arranged between users.

Who may use Qura

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract. Clinician accounts are for individual healthcare professionals. Supplier and organisation accounts are for businesses acting through an authorised individual. You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping your password secure. Accounts are personal and must not be shared.

Information you provide

You must give accurate information and keep it up to date. If you are a healthcare professional, this includes your profession, your regulatory body and your registration number. Providing false registration information, or presenting yourself as registered when you are not, is a serious matter: we will close the account and may notify the relevant regulator.

Registration status and what "verified" means

This section matters, so it is written plainly.

Registered means the professional has given us their registration details and confirmed them against the relevant official public register themselves. It is a statement by them, not by us.

Verified means someone at Qura has checked that registration number against the relevant official public register. This check is carried out before an introduction is completed.

A check confirms that a registration exists and appears current on the official register at the time we looked. It is not a reference, a right to work check, a criminal record check, an assessment of competence, or a substitute for the recruitment and safer employment checks that an employer is required to carry out. Organisations remain fully responsible for their own pre-employment and pre-engagement checks under the law and under their own governance.

Fees

Subscription plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through our payment provider, Stripe, at the prices shown on the pricing page. Introduction fees, where they apply, are charged per introduction at the price shown before you confirm. All prices are in pounds sterling and exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. We may change prices on 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next renewal.

Cancellation and refunds are covered by our refund and cancellation policy on the website.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service. In particular you must not: copy, scrape or extract information about other users in bulk; use information from Qura for any purpose other than the engagement it was provided for; contact professionals for purposes unrelated to work opportunities; upload anything unlawful, misleading or harmful; attempt to gain access to another account or to parts of the service you are not entitled to use; or use the service to discriminate against anyone unlawfully.

Information about named individuals obtained through Qura may only be used for the purpose of the specific engagement, must be held securely, and must be handled in accordance with data protection law. You must not add anyone to a marketing list on the strength of an introduction.

Availability

We aim to keep Qura available and working, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and may carry out maintenance. Where a change is significant and adverse to a paying customer, we will give reasonable notice.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of contracts, loss of anticipated savings, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you in any 12 month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, or £100 if you have paid us nothing.

We are not liable for the acts or omissions of any user, for the suitability, conduct or performance of any professional, for any organisation's hiring decisions, or for any engagement entered into between users.

Your responsibility to us

If you are using Qura as a business, you agree to cover our losses arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of information obtained through the service, or your breach of data protection law in relation to information you obtain through Qura.

Data protection

How we handle personal information is set out in our privacy policy. Where an organisation obtains personal information about professionals through Qura and then uses it for its own purposes, that organisation is a controller of that information in its own right and is responsible for its own compliance. Business customers who require a data processing agreement should contact us.

Ending your account

You may close your account at any time from the app, or by following our account deletion instructions. Paid plans continue until the end of the period already paid for unless our refund policy says otherwise. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why unless we are prevented from doing so.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will give notice by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Qura after that means you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not remove protections you have under the law of the country you live in.
