Qura Ltd, trading as Qura Health ("Qura", "we", "us"), operates the Qura website and mobile app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights. We are the data controller for the information described here.
Qura Ltd, registered in England & Wales (company no. 17310951), 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London W1W 5PF. Contact: privacy@qurahealth.org.
Account information: your name, email address, and the role you choose (clinician or supplier). Professional information you provide: profession, registration details, country, experience, and a CV or professional summary. Usage information needed to run the service, such as applications you make, opportunities you save, and introductions you request. Payment information is processed by our payment provider, Stripe; we do not store card details.
To create and manage your account, record professional registration details, match clinicians with relevant roles, enable suppliers to discover and connect with clinicians, process subscriptions and introduction fees, send you service notifications, and improve and secure the service.
Where you provide a professional registration number, you confirm it yourself against the relevant official public regulator register when you register with us. Before an introduction is made to a supplier, we check that number directly against the official public register, and your profile is then marked verified. We do not collect more than is needed for this purpose.
Verified clinician profile information (such as profession, registration body, country and experience) may be shown to suppliers on the platform so they can consider you for roles. We do not sell your personal data. We use trusted processors including Supabase (data hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Anthropic (AI features) and, where you have agreed to analytics, PostHog (product analytics, hosted in the EU); each processes data only on our instructions.
Some features use AI to summarise information you provide (for example, turning your own professional summary into highlights) or to draft messages. These operate only on information already provided and do not make verification or eligibility decisions on their own.
Cookies that are strictly necessary to run Qura, such as keeping you signed in, are always used. We cannot provide the service without them.
Analytics cookies are used only if you agree. When you first visit we ask, and you can choose "Essential only" or "Accept all". If you decline, no analytics code is loaded at all. You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
Where you agree, we use PostHog to understand how the service is used, hosted on their EU infrastructure so your data does not leave the EU. This records pages viewed, features used, and a replay of your session so we can see where the product is confusing. Session replays mask every text field, so anything you type, including registration numbers, email addresses and passwords, is never recorded or replayable. We use this only to improve Qura, never to build a profile of you for advertising.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymise it. You can request deletion at any time.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, and to data portability. You can delete your account in the app (Account > Delete my account) or by contacting us. To exercise any right, email privacy@qurahealth.org.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
Qura is for qualified professionals and organisations and is not intended for anyone under 18.
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
